Nestled in 1,000 acres of beautiful
Northumberland countryside, Slaley Hall is a wonderful Edwardian mansion full
of charm and character. The Venue us situated 7 miles outside of the ancient market town of Hexham, and a short
drive from the A68 and A69 main roads.
Travelling By Road
From the North
Take the A68 South. At the
roundabout, take the second exit to remain on the A68. After 2 miles, just
before the Stagshaw Road Roundabout, take the slip road and merge onto the
Corbridge Bypass (A69), signposted Newcastle/Darlington. When you reach the
Styford Roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A68, then at the Broomhaugh
Roundabout, take the second exit towards Darlington to remain on the A68. After
4.5 miles, turn right towards Blanchland/Slaley/West Minsteracres and continue
for 3 miles; the entrance to the Venue will be on your left-hand side, clearly
signposted. Free onsite parking is available for all guests.
From the South
Take the A68 North. Exit towards
Slaley, then at the end of the road, turn left, following signs for
Blanchland/Slaley and continue for 2 miles; the entrance to the Venue will be
on your left-hand side, clearly signposted. Free onsite parking is available
for all guests.
From the East
Take the A69 West. When you reach the
Styford Roundabout, take the first exit onto the A68, then at the Broomhaugh
Roundabout, take the second exit towards Darlington to remain on the A68. After
4.5 miles, turn right towards Blanchland/Slaley/West Minsteracres and continue
for 3 miles; the entrance to the Venue will be on your left-hand side, clearly

From the West
Take the A69 East. Turn right onto
the B6531, signposted Hexham (west) and follow the road to the town
centre. At The Fox pub, bear left onto
the B6305 and continue for 0.3 miles before turning right onto Eastgate/B6306
(just before Boots Pharmacy). After 5 miles, turn left towards Riding Mill and
continue for 2 miles; the entrance to the Venue will be on your right-hand
side, clearly signposted. Free onsite parking is available for all guests.
By Public Transport
Hexham is the nearest railway station and roughly a 15-minute taxi ride
from the Venue. Approximate journey times are as follows:
- Newcastle-upon-Tyne to Hexham: 40 Minutes
- Sunderland to
Hexham: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
- Carlisle to Hexham: 30 Minutes
- London (Kings Cross) to Hexham: 4 Hours
