Help required for Research Project
Janis Griffiths, School Counselling Team Leader at the Catholic Children’s Society (Westminster), is undertaking a small-scale research
project to find out how counselling and therapy services based in schools involve children in service development while maintaining the
boundaries provided by ethical principles. The aim of the research is to gather examples of current practice that could inform improved s
ervice delivery across other therapy and counselling services. The research is funded by Children's Workforce Development Council
(CWDC)'s Practitioner-Led Research (PLR) Project (
www.cwdcouncil.org.uk/plr).
To help inform her project, Janis is looking for coordinators or service managers to interview about how they approach evaluation and
monitoring using children's views. She is focussing on counselling and therapy services delivered to Primary schools. Interviews will
take place in late January/ early February.
If you are interested in being interviewed, or would like more information about the project or final report, please contact Janis on
